Review
Review time. I do really expect that Reine can be the enemy here.

The previous Episode basically shows that on what has really happened when Mio finally met Shin, who is Shido Itsuka from the present. And now, it really shows some exciting, yet deadly surprises here, when Mio begins to retrieve the Sephira crystals by killing off some major Spirit characters. Kaguya the first victim? I do really expect that other major Spirit characters will be killed off in the future, succeeding Episodes, and that would be sad for some fans.

It is good to see some minor characters to show off here for an another time here, when Shido was being teleported away by Mio from battle. Especially when Shido did some little, yet funny fanservice scene here, it makes the mood to be in a little comedy when everything gets serious enough. Yep, and to give some minor characters a chance to stand along with Shido.

Nothing to look upon with some other characters who are wielding and bashing their swords against each other. These other characters, like Elliot, are more likely to get their own spotlight on the next Episode, it seems (As teased in the next preview).

Surprisingly, one of the major spirit characters here got killed by an instant. Maybe, I might expect that other Spirits can be killed in the future, succeeding Episodes, it seems? What can Shido do next when they were all killed, leaving him and Mio only in the battlefield?

Overall, this Episode is average, yet good. But not for some fans who got sad that their favorite Spirit character got killed. And for my insights, it can be read on the summary.

I hope the current DAL season won’t disappoint me in the end, when it comes to ending, really soon.

My Rating: GOOD (4/5)

Review Rating Summary and Breakdown

Story: (4/5) – Story pacing is just good. Yep, and one of the characters here got killed, and some of their allies turned into enemies.
Animation: (4/5) – Nothing to say about animation. It’s just good, after all.
Insights: (4/5) – One of the questionable insight in this Episode, in which I couldn’t able to answer, or some. What can you do when the ally, whom you had trusted with for a long time, turned away against you, and has turned into your formidable, worthy foe? This is what I call as “betrayal”. That might be a difficult question to answer. But the best thing to do is you gotta fight, and defeat the thing that control his or her will to become an evil person to you.
