Overview (Story)
For every goals there are reasons why.

Laios’ party has finally reached the area where they had fought the Red Dragon, and Izutsumi was with them. An Ice Golem has appeared, and Senshi realized that time that he has thrown the core in the water drain, leading to the area they are standing right now.

Review
Review time! I can’t believe that Barometz does really exist as a folklore.

To give a background, Barometz was actually called as the Vegetable Lamb of Tartary in folklore. It is a plant that grows sheep as its bearing fruit.

You can learn more about it here.

And going to the review proper, the opening credits was slightly changed, and Izutsumi was finally included. And then, Izutsumi is really bratty and wants to rush things as soon as possible. Especially when she was starting to quarrel against Chilchuck during battle with the Ice Golem in this Episode.

And later on, at the part where Izutsumi is talking with Marcille, this is where they lecture themselves. I do really like the part when Marcille is talking about her weaknesses before, that was surpassed by experience, and Izutsumi is learning from it.

Izutsumi is getting a character background here, where she used to be as lazy and dependent. She doesn’t care when there are people who got hurt or in danger.

I am finally getting a significant insight here where Marcille is talking about her struggles and weaknesses. Like she said that when she is avoiding the things she dislikes, she is beginning to stray away from the path she was traversing into. So then, it is basically us who are losing our paths because we are avoiding ourselves to get hurt or get into struggles. What an insight here!

Laios and Marcille encountering an Ice Golem.

So then, it is really a sense that Izutsumi wants to be useful here, and not just an ally of Laios’ party who is really reliable to intricate situations.

Overall, this Episode is somehow filled with insights — something that I can learn by just trying to be useful, and not as a person who is trying to be dependent on others. More insights can be read later.

And overall, it is just average when it comes to story and animation. It can be all talk about morals. But at the same time, it’s entertaining.

My Rating: AVERAGE (3.3/5)

Review Rating Summary and Breakdown

Story: (3/5) – Story progression is average. They just defeat Ice Golem and some group of wolves. The rest are just more of a moral talk.
Animation: (3/5) – Animation is average. At least I got a background with Izutsumi, from now on.
Insights: (4/5) – Like I said, this Episode is filled with insights to learn. Sometimes, we just learn on how to be useful, and not a person who is really dependent on others. Our weaknesses can sometimes be our strengths, and we should take advantage of them! Also, if we don’t struggle, we don’t improve and we are losing our way in our paths to our own goals.
