The Reversed Soprano Voice

This blog post may contain minimal spoilers. Please read them only if you had seen this Episode.

OVERVIEW (STORY)

In an establishment where karaoke is a fun and entertainment for people who go there and sing, there is this strange voice that is singing along with the musical accompaniments of the music in a karaoke box. It occurs when the people tries to play and sing that certain song. When a song plays, this strange voice is beginning to join them after, and the voice tone of it begins to go deeper and deeper! And afterwards, it begins to harm them!

Angoramon believes that a Digimon is behind with this incident. And then, they devised a strategy on how to lure this Digimon out from its online karaoke network hideout!

REVIEW

Ever heard of the term, LSS, or the last song syndrome? It is just basically repeating the same song in your head. And then, you are later beginning to sing along with it.

But then, this Episode is about karaoke. And karaoke box sets that can be rented are popular, especially for people in the Philippines. You can hear them singing all day and night, and sometimes their voices are not in the sync with the music anymore when drunk. And then, singing in a karaoke box can be a training regimen, especially for young people and aspirants who were beginning their first steps in becoming song artists, or even idols.

Going to the review proper. It seems that Kiyoshiro is still acting cowardly, especially when he was with Jellymon. But those times, he finally joins Hiro and Ruli in their phenomenal Digimon adventures, as seen from the opening animation credits! In some points of the upcoming future Episodes, will there be any chance for Kiyoshiro to be brave, at the time when Jellymon needs his help?

One highlight here is Ruli’s Digimon partner, Angoramon. He can actually know any Digimons by scanning their appearance and info. So then, he knows every aspect of a Digimon, from top to bottom. But then, he doesn’t know or heard anything about temporary evolution, or the term known as Digivolution. Who knows that this Digivolution thing is actually man-made? This is definitely something that Angoramon must need to know and research as a Digimon himself. And finally, I am beginning to like this Digimon, especially if he’s the cool-type one (Noted for his eyes covered with his own hair).

For Betelgammamon, he is something like Flamedramon or Omegashoutmon (Omnishoutmon). But then, I haven’t seen too much potential for this Digivolved form of Gammamon. But I think that he has an another Digivolution form yet to be revealed, as foreshadowed from the opening animation credits again. Think of it as a superhero that can change with various forms and types, depending on the stat and nature of his enemy!

It seems that their enemy Digimons can be easily defeated, or these enemy Digimons just concede themselves! As they progress through every Episodes, their enemies are progressively becoming more difficult to beat!

It’s too early for us to find out who’s the real true boss enemy who is behind with these phenomenal Hologram Ghosts, or Digimons, rather. But one clue that enters into my mind is Hiro’s father, who was currently in the parallel Digital World, where Digimons live in.

DIGIMON INTRO CORNER

It seems Angoramon is now trying to educate us with his own intro corner, just like I do in every Episode Reviews! And did you know that the Digimons that were encountered in some Episodes are from the previous Digimon TV Anime and video game series which were previously released before? Anyway, let us have some information with this Digimon, in which it was encountered during in this Episode!

Sirenmon! A Digimon that can sing a lower or higher pitch notes, and use them as its own attacks!

Name: Sirenmon (セイレーンモン)
Type: Shaman
Level: Ultimate
Attribute: Data
Special Attack(s): Symphony No.1 -Polyphony-, Symphony No.2 -Aria-, Symphony No.3 -Canon-

Info from: https://digimon.fandom.com/wiki/Sirenmon

Sirenmon has an appearance of a combination of bird and fish. Its only job is to sing songs that can make other Digimons be happy and live in harmony, just like an idol.

Its special attack is the Symphony No.3 -Canon-! It attacks by using its voice, and it is shaped with a musical note! It is not really a Digimon which is designed for combat, but its other Symphony attacks can act as supportive or defensive buffs (or debuffs), in which it can either strengthen or weaken an enemy Digimon in battle!

Sirenmon is needing your support! In fact, it is just like a typical Japanese idol that needs some voice and dance training, and nurturing support from its fans!

The Digimon Series is a franchise or series created and developed by Akiyoshi Hongo in 1997, and was co-created with Toei Animation (one of the grandfathers of the known animation studios in Japan).
