Overview (Story)
The Demon Lord of Darkness has appeared in front of them. Despite their teamwork and strategy, he is unstoppable, and was able to overpower Rein and his party. Meanwhile, Nina is just watching them fight against this ultimate boss enemy. She doesn’t want to see Rein and others hurt. So then, Nina got her hidden powers, in which it can help Rein and others win. Can that power be able to withstand finally against the Demon Lord’s power?
Review
Let’s head on to the review proper! Will the next one be the last? Who knows!
Final battle is just really maximized into one whole Episode! With the plot not wasting its time, it was able to resolve the conflict without any worry.
But how about the characters? It seems that they had given all what they got. And then, for Nina, I am just saying that she just needs to get some extra spotlight here at the next Episode, which might be the last, I think? Rein is proven to be the OP (over-powered) character here, and just saying “I am just a Beast Tamer” means that he is just being a “humble hero”. Of course, it is just Rein Shroud! And will you ask him about it the same question? Sora and Runa are really adorable and cute here, even if there are times that dangers are ongoing, and they just joke and argue. Meanwhile, Kanade and Tania are just falling somewhere in between, where their spotlight is no longer with them in the final battle. The rest? How about the Heroes Party, in Arios’ side? Absolutely, I hope that they might be appearing on the last Episode, though. If not, I am just hoping that there would be a second season, or by just reading the continuity story in the Manga counterpart! And finally, the rest, including the characters, like Stella and the Horizon townspeople, did already their minor roles in helping our hero characters. And so much for the characters that revolve around within this Episode!
Story. The Demon Lord of Darkness is just like a typical “boss character” that appeared in any RPGs ever. Like, when you beat him, there goes his second form, and bla bla. Second something form or ability is the hardest to beat, especially when you are having a hard time beating the first one. And in the Anime, there would be always some “Deus Ex Machina” thing for Rein to use, as if he is already in peril of dying! But did you know that beating a powerful boss enemy requires some strategy, wits, and a “secret item” or weapon to use? Not unless if you watch this Episode on how did Rein become the OP Beast Tamer ever, than anyone else! And of course, I like the execution of the scenes there, and they were able to maximize the duration of the Episode without ending it in a cliffhanger. I can say that they didn’t really waste the screen time when they never put those unnecessary and excessive “past memories” and other gag scenes (Though that there are some, a little). So far, this is the Episode that made me stay put onto my seat while not taking my eyes off from the screen!
And to learn from this Episode. Your enemy can be strong! You had already used your strategies and teamwork! Our attacks aren’t working, and it’s no use! Sometimes, our outcome of the battle is just depending on our luck, and we should know that! And whenever there’s hope, something can really help you in the end! And this is how you turn the tables against your opponent in order to score your last-minute win! Just make sure that you don’t give up, especially if you are already near in losing the fight. You just have to use everything that you have learned in your adventures just in order to score against the boss enemy, and that’s a tip in RPGs!
