School Idol Festival Journal Log 3rd Season – #16

This time, who could be among the Idol Chasers to go out and to explore? It seems that they were all not sure on who could be those people to go out.

“How about we decide them through a random roulette? Or a Gacha, somehow?” said and suggested Honoka.

“Good idea,” said Saki. “Alright, let us decide through with a random ball drop draw!”

And so, the random draw has begun.

“The rules are just simple,” said Saki. “The four balls that randomly come out from this box shall be the ones who will go out for this mission.”

And then, the box was being shaken. When four random colored balls had come out, this has finally decided on who are among the Idol Chasers should be going out for the today’s mission.

The colored balls are orange, silver, white, and black. Those colors are corresponding to each member. So which means…

“It has been decided!” said Saki. “Chiharu, Aika, Sho, and Gen shall be going out for this today’s mission!”

When they had found out the result, it seems that they were ready.

“Let’s do this, and find the Prism Card!” said Chiharu.

“This time, it’s not a scary, deserted place anymore, just like last time!” said Aika.

“Well, I am all prepped up for today!” said Sho.

“It’s natural to be energetic and ready,” said Gen. “But remember that we should be all prepared for any possible dangers.”

“Alright,” said Saki. “Time to start the mission! Stage Start!”

And so, the four people has already went out from the maid cafe.

Chiharu, Aika, Sho, and Gen are walking around the place. They knew that it is just like their own present world.

“So this is Tokyo… Ten years ago?” asked Chiharu.

“Maybe looked the same,” said Aika. “But look at the differences of the structures!”

“Eh??” asked and surprised Sho. “Did that kind of arcade amusement existed before in our world!?”

“Though the same elements,” said Gen. “This Tokyo looks so different from our present Tokyo in our own world.”

“Everyone, let’s keep looking!”

And so, everyone has continued their walk and search.

But not until Aika has been finally fazed when she saw something familiar in her eyes. There are at least two things that fazed her. One is a familiar maid cafe, and the other is…

“The Legendary Maid…” said Aika. “Mi… Minalinsky??”

She is slowly going to that direction on where she was. However, she was totally separated from Chiharu, Sho, and Gen.

And meanwhile, when Chiharu and the two boys are walking further, they had noticed that Aika is no longer with them.

“Oh no!” said Chiharu. “We had lost Aika in the crowd!”

“I am sorry!” said and apologized Sho. “I ain’t paying attention to our surroundings!”

“I feel that she went to that place…” said Gen. “The place where that familiar maid cafe did exist.”

“Maid cafe? Was that our place?”

“And that familiar maid cafe is way different from ours! Did she go there?”

“I can feel it. Let’s go there now!”

“Wait guys! I think we found it.”

“That’s the stage platform?”

“Looks like it. And we need Aika so that you could perform on that stage platform!”

“But then, there is something wrong. And it is not giving out some flowing aura.”

“Wait, it can’t be…”

“Hmm… Something is definitely wrong…”

And back at the place where Aika did lost her friends, she ended up into a familiar maid cafe, which is different from their maid cafe.

And so, Aika ended up sitting down on the seat of the cafe.

It looks like that the table seat is special. And finally, Minalinsky served her some coffee drink, as well as sitting next to her.

This is where Aika did really talk to the Legendary Maid in the maid cafe, who is Minalinsky.

“Umm… Hi! Kotori… Ehem… Minalinsky~!”

“Hello! And how many times do I have to tell you that I am not Kotori? Because, I am Minalinsky!”

“Oh, I am sorry! And nice meeting you! I am Aika Tenkuji!”

“Nice meeting you too~! Would you like to have a coffee talk with me while there are no customers yet?”

Aika did not hesitate to have herself a time talking with Minalinsky, while sipping her coffee. And then, she is talking about herself to her.

And back at the place where Chiharu, Sho, and Gen are standing, they have thoughts on how they could find the Prism Card, when the stage platform is no longer giving out aura.

“I think somebody has came first here before us!” said Gen.

“Did we fail this time?” said Chiharu with disappointment.

“So then, who could be having the Prism Card?” said Sho.

Inverse Lierre came in due time, and she speaks out to the three, “It looks like somebody has performed here first before you guys came!”

Everyone were surprised because of Inverse Lierre’s sudden appearance.

“Of course, the one who got the Prism Card won’t be able to activate it without the Digitariel of my other self!” she said.

“As of this moment, we need to find someone who has that Prism Card!” said Gen.

“But the question is…” said and asked Sho. “Who got it and where we could find him or her?”

“But then, I got a clue,” said Chiharu. “Guys, we need to find Aika first!”

“Definitely, one of the clues either,” said Inverse Lierre.

And so, the people started to move out.

At the maid cafe where the remaining Idol Chasers are in, Komari was cleaning up her own pistol. And so, she is reminded about her own past memories of her own mother.

“I promise. I will find and kill that one person who is responsible for your death,” Komari said.

LIERRE: Let’s celebrate! I am back since from my absence!
AIKA: Good thing you are back!
MAMI: There are lots of things that happened while you are gone ever since.
TAKAYOSHI: This time, we are back on the track! We are going to highlight some things that has happened in the LoveLive! Series.
SHO: And you know what? There are at least four School Idols who are about to celebrate their birthdays soon next month!
GEN: Now that’s quite a lot in numbers.
SAKI: Speaking of the headlines today, we have previously highlighted that the Uta Gassen event has been announced last week, so…
LIERRE: That can be historic! Two idol brands in one stage is also interesting!
SAKI: And now, there are some exciting things to encounter soon this week on the School Idol Universe! Stage Start!

And finally, back at the familiar maid cafe where Aika and Minalinsky are talking…

“I see. You were once a School Idol.”

“But then, I didn’t make it to the top of the finals of the LoveLive! contest. So then, I decided to give it up.”

“Why did you give up?”

“It is because… I had already reached for that dream.”

“A dream?”

“Yes. A dream where it has really given me something that I could carry it on until I die.”

“What is it could be?”

Minalinsky showed her some mysterious item that she got from her pocket.

“Wait… That’s a Prism Card!”

“Eh? Are you looking for this?”

“Yeah! And how did you get it?”

“I don’t know. I just did sing and dance… And then, this item appeared in front of me.”

This is where Aika tried to convince Minalinsky if she was able to hand over the Prism Card to Aika. Will she ever succeed?
