Review
Review time! The progression is too slow, yet exciting on this part.

As expected, all of the Spirits will die here, with Shido only standing at the front of Mio Takamiya. So then, what’s gonna happen next?

It is really true that Shido can be powerless to face Mio alone. But then, it is nice to see that he is really fighting hard until the very end, with Tohka and Kurumi finally being vanquished for an another time here. Yep, and this is the thing in which I consider it as “manly”, and he finally shed tears. He got on what it is called as the “Bad End”, where everything good dies in his hands with some blood of many that are shedding.

As expected, Shido is going to use that “trump card” that he has acquired from Kurumi. My thought is that when you are out of options, you just hit that reset button. And to restart from the last save point that you had saved. Basically, it’s like a video game (visual novel) thing in mind. But what if it is already in real life? Real life has no resets nor restarts.

So, I am going to expect more that Shido will be using this “second chance” in order for his attempt to stop Mio from going out of control. And with a couple of Episodes remaining, what could be the fate that leads him to gain love and peace?

My thoughts in this Episode is somehow average. With all of the remaining Spirits being eradicated by Mio, this has made the viewers like me to question on what could be our fate when the bad end finally met us. So then, again, it is just like in a typical visual novel game, where most of our choices in life can consequently be affecting our own future.

Yep, and Shido must make a careful choice in order to suppress Mio.

Overall, this Episode is really average to good. I like somehow on how a typical game can be restarted to a certain save point — Just how it happened when Shido finally used Kurumi’s Spirit powers (Yud Bet, lol).

My Rating: AVERAGE (3.3/5)

Review Rating Summary and Breakdown

Story: (3/5) – Story and pacing is quite slow. Only the Shido versus Mio showdown, in a slow-paced manner with some side plots and flashbacks.
Animation: (3/5) – Average. There are some parts where the frames are considered too bright, or even I can barely see some characters when exposed in bright white backgrounds.
Insights: (4/5) – If it is a video game, we can reach on what we call as the “Bad End”. If we aren’t pleased on the outcome of the story in the game, we can choose to restart to the last checkpoint before it goes to happen. Any decisions per second overtime that we make can affect our own future. So then, in our own real-life situations, it is really important to make our decisions quick, somemtimes. If we sometimes make our decisions late, or too fast, then it can consequently affect our own fates or futures. If we are given a second chance to try again, what are we going to do, in order to make that same fate never happen again?
