EPISODE 33: Memory Maze Series ~My Mother~
Aika and Sho finally escaped from the Memory Maze made by the Digitariel, making them realize on who they are.
But then, there are still some people who aren’t able to escape yet! This time, it’s Komari’s turn to get her resolve in finding out on what’s in her distorted memories!
This is the third part of the Memory Maze Series! Be sure to read this Episode until the very end!
Komari found herself lying down on the bed in a bedroom. She finally wakes up, and she finds out that she is currently inside the bedroom of her mother.
“I see…” said her. “I was finally inside this Memory Maze. I just need to search for the truth.”
She finally goes out of the bedroom. Only, she finds herself being arrived at the place that she has never seen before.
On that place, she saw a laboratory. This is where she found out on what she has saw exactly on the document file that she saw.
“So this place…This is what they call as the Clone Project!”
A man came through her, and just passed on the other side at the front of her. She was surprised that the people around her are just like holograms.
And she said, “That’s right. Nobody can see me nor hear me right here. And I am in my own maze of memories.”
As she continued to move on, she finally arrived at the place, where she has finally saw her mother, who was indeed a School Idol in the past.
“You are definitely the first one to try this project of ours!” said the doctor scientist.
“Are you sure this one is safe?” asked Mari. “I just wanted to protect my own purity for my fans.”
“Don’t worry about it. In fact, your own clone will just do everything what it wants. And at least, the real you shall never be replaced.”
With a little hesitation in her, Mari finally speaks out and said, “Alright, let’s do this!”
Komari, on the other hand finally got an idea that her mother was just only a clone. It leaves a question on her mind, and said, “The question is… Where is truly my real mother?”
Her surroundings finally flashed and faded out in white. When it has returned normal, she found herself standing on a garden filled with flowers.
She then found her younger self, along with her mother. She finally sees them talk at each other.
“My dear,” said Mari. “Even if you are ignoring my words, still you are trying to be yourself, and I had already observed it.”
“Mama,” said the younger Komari. “Do you really hate me seeing me dressed as a boy? I just wanted to —“
“You are finally growing up to be someone who can be loved and adored by people around you. I will not speak about you on how the way you dress this time. From now on, I will let you decide your own path now! Just remember to take also advices from me, okay?”
“Thanks, Mama!”
“Just continue of what you are now, my dear young Komari. So as long as you can’t hurt someone else with those feelings.”
The young Komari finally hugs Mari with joy.
This is where the present Komari finally saw the last moments with her mother. And she said, “This might be the last time when I finally hugged my mother personally when I was still young.”
The scene finally faded out in white, turning into an another scene.
“This scene…” said Komari. “Could it be…?”
Mari has rode inside the helicopter to travel. And when the helicopter finally ascended, it was finally shot down by a missile, and was destroyed.
This is where Komari has witnessed the death of her mother, who found out that it was just a clone. But still, she haven’t found the culprit who has literally killed her mother on the spot.
“This is it,” said Komari. “I must find the culprit somewhere!”
She then tracked down on where did the missile came from, and has ended up on a forested hill. This is where some heavy equipment that are found.
And in the end, she finally found the culprit who is behind with her mother’s death. It was none other than…
“Mari? The real Mari!? Is this for real?” she asked in surprise. “I see now. She is the one who killed my mother, who is her clone.”
With the legit elegant yellow eyes and face, Komari knows that the real Mari is formerly a School Idol in the past.
Finally, the surroundings around her has dissolved in white.
“So the real culprit behind with my mother’s death is actually the real Mari Ohara,” said her. “And I am just a being who is born from a clone. Which means… I am not existing—“
“That’s not true, Komari! You are not alone or something!” said Chiharu as she has appeared before her.
“Chiharu! I am glad that you are here!” said Komari.
“Now that you have unravelled your dark mystery that you can’t even solve out your own.”
“It is all thanks to this Memory Maze… And to you, of course! I have finally realized that Mari Ohara was once my mother, who was a clone. And she was finally killed… by the real one!”
“Komari, nothing can replace the real one. It is whether they are a cheap copy or a clone, their hearts and feelings will never be the same!”
“I understand. So that’s the reason why the real Mari has finally killed her clone, who was really my mother after all.”
“She finally did that in order to protect her purity and integrity! It is because, she did belong to her fans, as a School Idol.”
“But hey! Thank you for that, Chiharu. Thank you for digging up my hard-to-remember memories for me!”
LIERRE: Behold! Here comes the month of December, readers!
