Following the Voice Actress’ Step Down From Her Character Role

Bushiroad reported yesterday (November 30, 2022) that Ami Maeshima, the voice actress for Aya Maruyama of Pastel*Palettes, shall be stepping down from her role due to her health-related problems. The staff had decided to make that decision, as they are planning to look for Ami Maeshima’s replacement for Aya’s voice soon at a later date.

Ami Maeshima debuted with her character in the smartphone game, BanG Dream! Girls Band Party, as Aya Maruyama of Pastel*Palettes. She had debuted along with the group in the series since year 2016, with their song, Shuwarin☆Drea~min.

Following the news about her stepping down from her role, it is also reported that her voice lines in the game shall never be replaced, but to preserve it, as requested by its fans. Her old voices shall be remained intact in the game, and new voices shall be added by the new voice actress who will replace her soon.
