The title is LoveLive! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club THE MOVIE: FINALE -Part 1- (Official English title to be confirmed), and is a sequel to the concluded OVA Episode which was premiered last June 2023. This upcoming movie is set to premiere in Japan theaters on September 6, 2024.
STORY (Synopsis Summary from the Official Page)
After the exchange student, Isla, has returned, the School Idol Club has received an invitation to the upcoming School Idol Grand Prix (School Idol GPX) event.
In order to participate to that said event, the six girls, Ayumu, Kasumi, Shizuku, Kanata, Emma, and Lanzhu, must travel to Okinawa, one of its venues.
This is a story where the girls must see their friends (rivals) shine on the stage. And meanwhile, Ayumu has mixed thoughts about winning with her fellow School Idols.
Hajime Yatate will be the series’ story composer. Tomoyuki Kawamura will be directing the movie series, and the script will be done by Jin Tanaka (known for 【OSHI NO KO】 Anime). Kerorira will be serving as the visual director for this movie trilogy series. And finally, animation studio SUNRISE will be animating the whole series.
LoveLive! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is a TV Anime series — a third installment of the long-running LoveLive! Series. It was developed based from the School Idols and characters created and published by Bushiroad and KLab Inc., and it was also based from the LoveLive! ALL STARS smartphone online video game. This Anime series has been animated by SUNRISE INC.
The series ran for at least two seasons, consisting of at least 13 Episodes each.
The Anime shorts spinoff, the Nijiyon Animation, premiered in 2023, which would feature short Episodes that would last up to three minutes each. This series spanned for at least two seasons.
