Overview (Story)
Every night, people who see some lone cats around while sleeping or awake are being controlled by them. One night, this cat Digimon, named as Bastemon, has begun controlling these people by using the cats that it has gained controlled with! These cats can even control, or even telling the people to mimic on what they can do. Even Hiro, Kiyoshiro, and others were finally under Bastemon’s control. What they should do?
Review
Bastemon is one of the returning Digimons that appeared from Digimon Xros Wars, previously! Alright, let us head on to the review proper!
Nothing too much to spot for character development. Instead, the story line in this Episode looked so spooky, at the point that you can really clench something that you can hold! Bastemon did really shifted from being a calm and soft-spoken Digimon into something that people do really scared of. The opposite is that she is a sadist and a “killer yandere”. Remember the scene from Digimon Xros Wars where she actually go “Yandere mode” to kill off that little annoying Digimon pest? Yep, and that’s for Bastemon in this Episode.
Story theme? It really shows that cats while in the night can be scary. Yep, and it is really noted for the shape of their eyes, and their voices when they get angry. Did you know that cat fights can be noisy? It is because, when they see each other, they are looking for a fight. That’s how it is. And did you know that getting to encounter some cats, depending on their color, can have some specific meanings which are somehow related to luck or fortune? Also, some related Yokai stories related to this can give you an idea.
Moral story? I guess people should really be nice to some things. Or otherwise, some bad omen might be occurring afterwards if we are not careful otherwise.
Well, an Episode in which they had pulled out a known Digimon from the other known Digimon Series, just in order for some older fans to hook on. But then, nothing has really impressed me, when it comes to storyline.
My Rating: AVERAGE (3.2/5)
