We came across with different genres.
What are the thing or things that brought us together in watching Anime? Was it because of our friends? Common interests? Or probably on different aspects or genres? There are lot of things that brought us together to Anime world. But then, I am going to list down some of the things that brought us together.
Manga and Comics
Yep, Manga and comics, as well as reading them, know that we are an Anime fan. From its art and style, we shall figure out of what could be our favorite. Manga and comics have different genres, ranging from superheroes, fantasies, and even some real-life happenings like romantic comedies and even drama. We all know that these can be adapted into an Anime series once it reaches a considerable higher amount of its copies sold in the market. You will also find out by looking at some ads which was imprinted along with the sleeves of your bought Manga or comic copies.
Live Action TV Series
Some of the popular TV series were made in either US, Japan, or other countries like Korea. The only thing that makes us closer to Anime is that most live action TV series are having elements in which they were present also in the Anime. This shall include sound effects, as well as some insert animation drawing effects in which some of the characters are having funny situations, and such more.
How about some TV series in which it has mature and dark plots? The only thing that can make it into an Anime is because of its themes in which it was suitable for audiences just like me (i.e. fantasy, romantic drama or comedy, and superhero-themed plot). But then, not always all of these live action TV series can be incorporated with Anime, since it has some plots or situations that most viewers like me can’t able to understand (i.e. crime scenes and murders, and investigations).
Video Games
Third. The thing that makes us brought together in Anime is the video games that we play, and the others play. Video games are ranging from different genres, and it depends on the favoritism of the players around. Some genres, include adventure, action, puzzle, and simulation, are present. Most people who play RPGs (role-playing games) are more likely to have Anime as their interest.
The only thing that can bring us to Anime by video games is that if that certain video game title is going to be adapted as an Anime series. Example of this is the DOTA: Dragon’s Blood, in which it was now streaming on Netflix platform. That Anime is based from a popular big-time video game which was played by millions of people worldwide.
Idols
For people who love idols, mostly idols from Japan, whether celebrity or indie idols, this could be one of the things that brought them into the Anime world. Idols are ranging from variety genres, from being solo to group, performing from ground-up PVs and up to song singles, or even producing their own multimedia content for people to enjoy. Not only these idols do perform on stage, but also they do some stage plays, or even playing their roles at a TV series or drama.
Idols are a general interest where people brought themselves into the Anime world. Many idol-themed series were adapted either on an Anime series, or even a free-to-play smartphone video game.
Common Interests
There are other a lot of interests in which they were never fit on the four categories above. Which means, there are lots of genres or aspects in which they were included as things that why most people are brought instantly into Anime.
These common interests, such as basketball, bicycling, swimming, or even baseball — commonly sports genre of interests.
There are lot of more genres in which they are included under this category, which were not mentioned. The best part is that you must discover them by yourself. This shall include food or cooking, fishing, or even e-sports or online gaming. Some of them are mixed up with one genre to another.
Summary
There are things that people are brought into the Anime world. They are Manga and comics, live action TV series, video games, idols, and many more of interests like basketball and bicycling. There are many more to mention. In fact, the best way was to research them by yourself.
