To celebrate its 30th Anniversary, TGS 2026 will be expanding its schedule into a five-day event, in order to maximize the engagement across both professional and public sectors.

Furthermore, eight standout developers will be chosen to present in the SOWN (Sense of Wonder Night). SOWN is a premiere global stage that celebrates the most innovative and original concepts in the indie gaming world.

TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026 will also highlight the AI Technology Pavilion, where it showcases the next frontier of gaming development. This will feature the latest AI-assisted design and some virtual assistant technologies, thus reflecting the rapid technological shifts seen throughout the show’s 30th anniversary history.
