Review
It’s the time of the year, where I have to wait for an another year… For an another story to happen. But then, I got no choice.
So, it is really true that Aqua is done with his cursed revenge. But then, this curse was finally transferred to Ruby. And now, Ruby got… Not one, but two stars on her eyes — both left and right.
And finally, the new Private Arc has been started — through with a season finale!
And so, the usual cut-in comedies are still indeed present when it’s Kana and MEM-cho’s turns.
For the MV that I saw at the end of the Episode (not the end credits), it looks catchy. And at the same time, it’s dark (due to Ruby’s double black star eyes). Yep, and Ruby finally revealed her evil side, and will it be foreshadowed in the next season? Of course, you have to avoid the Manga source, if you don’t want spoilers. Overall, the MV is cute.
My thoughts in this Episode? Basically, either a good one or the bad one. The bad one is that when the Private Arc is about to begin, then you have to wait for a long time to see it, though that you could read up the Manga source to know what has happened. And the good one? At least it has wrapped up some story and plot elements. So that we are really ready to dive down to the 3rd Season soon enough to see what could be Ruby doing next, knowing that her road to deadly revenge has finally begun. And then, it is really hinted that Aqua’s revenge to Ai’s death isn’t really ended after all.
Those exciting elements above… Can be one of the factors why my rating for this show is still good at this point. But for others, it can be a lowdown.
And for the insights of this Episode? Ending doesn’t mean it’s really over. Who knows that the end is just the beginning where you will face a series of conflicts after? You can read more in the insights at the breakdown of the review ratings.
My Rating: GOOD (4/5)
Review Rating Summary and Breakdown
Story: (4/5) – Story pacing is really right this time, since it was able to wrap up everything before the season ends with a finale. And as usual, it has ended with a scene leading to the next arc.
Animation: (4/5) – Animation is just right. And it’s good enough due to B-Komachi’s “POP IN 2” MV, which was mixed with cuteness and… some bit of dark elements. Overall, good.
Insights: (4/5) – Ending doesn’t mean it’s really over. Who knows that the end is just the beginning where you will face a series of conflicts after? “The end of the beginning,” that’s a famous quote or phrase! That means, there will be some more troubles and conflicts, and challenges, and it’s really a fight or struggle. So then, don’t underestimate the outcome or future of our lives. Sometimes, it can be different, and who knows that it might be our last?
