Overview (Story)
In the stage play of Tokyo Blade, the cast are giving all of what they got in order to entertain the audiences. Melt, on the other hand, is having a struggle on his bad acting on the stage. How could he overcome that?
Review
This is where on what we call add-leaves in a stage play or drama, wherein actors and actresses should do on their own, will suffice. And so, in this Episode, the other minor characters were given a chance to shine on the spotlight, wherein they will also release their another character development here.
Basically, all will go into “that” direction where they can literally move away from their usual practice routine — Their actual performance is different from their usual practice routine or rehearsal.
For my case, Melt shall be the spotlight here. Aside from Aqua being one of the cast who is weak at acting, Melt is also a wimp, just like in the previous Episodes where he is playing a character role in the “Sweet Today” drama. Melt’s character can be observed by just looking at his expressions or face.
But then, his potential acting was finally realized when he looked upon his weaknesses. Such as that bad acting and his impression to please people, those are his weak spots. Melt can be a handsome guy who is good at appearance, but very bad when it comes to convey emotions, just like Aqua. But in the end, many of the people (his fans) can relate on his bad acting, where it can be good at the end.
Meanwhile, Aqua, who is also bad at acting, is already lecturing Melt out of his misery. Basically, he wants him to realize his own weaknesses, in which it can be turned to strength one day.
So then, the insights of this Episode is that our own weaknesses can sometimes be our strengths, and vice-versa as well. It will depend on how well shall you use your abilities very well. So then, do not underestimate your own weaknesses to others. Who knows that your weaknesses can be an advantage? And so, I can totally relate on this Episode!
My thoughts? Good, so far. It doesn’t matter on how good an original work is — When it comes to acting or conveying emotions, still the good and the worst will still be decided at the end. And for my rating? You can read the Review Rating and Summary section for more.
My Rating: GOOD (4/5)
Review Rating Summary and Breakdown
Story: (3/5) – Nah, plot-pacing is still very slow than usual, showing the actual happening in the Tokyo Blade stage play. Basically, it’s just only the “Part One” of the play, and there will be a Part Two on the next Episode — It will be Aqua’s turn next.
Animation: (4/5) – Just good. Everything that I see on the stage play (setups) is really good and executed very well. Imagine if it is on a live action setting!
Insights: (5/5) – That’s right. Our own weaknesses can sometimes be our own strengths that can be used to our advantages. Vice-versa as well, if you don’t know how to use your abilities very well. It doesn’t matter on how powerful your weapons/equipment/abilities are. But when they were used in a wrong way, it will be pointless. Same goes with some good and bad actors (literally handsome-looking or such) who play on stage plays or dramas.
