Review
Review time! What an Episode filled with explosions… And some convos as well!

So far, I have nothing to say with this Episode, which is somehow looking great! Fern has really gone stronger and fights hard ’til the end, Übel has really become cunning here, and even their proctor, Sense, has really become surprised here — though her expression is just neutral.

Animation elements, especially on the parts where explosions do occur, had really made me confused, somehow, but understandable. Especially on when do these characters attack, I can somehow follow their directions, such as on where they could land after that explosion, and to counteract afterward.

Playing with scissors…

The main goal of this Episode was to show some viewers on how to survive a number of enemies endlessly without even figuring it out on how to stop them. Basically, destroying the “source” on where these enemies came from can be the true mission of their First-Class Mage Exam part two.

So then, you can learn something from the insights at the end of this review.

Overall, this Episode is above average to good, but not definitely the best Episode that I can watch. But still, it’s good, especially on Frieren destroying her clone successfully. Sorry, Fern! Her spotlight to shine finally in this Episode is quite stolen. But then, it’s a part of teamwork to allow your teammate to score a win in order to win this hard battle.

My Rating: GOOD (4.3/5)

Review Rating Summary and Breakdown

Story: (4/5) – Story is really intense, especially on the action part. Also, some couple of convos had really balanced this Episode in order to make it enjoyable to watch.
Animation: (4/5) – Fern did really try her best to hang on, thanks to Frieren. But then, her spotlight got stolen in the end, if you know what I mean! For the animation quality, some parts there can be confusing, but understandable, in the action part of this Episode.
Insights: (5/5) – Somehow, the insight of this Episode is really you have to fight continuously for survival. Who knows that there’s a miracle waiting? So then, it is really a part where you will have to strive harder in order to achieve your goals. But sometimes, not all the times you can win by just simply doing your best.
