Publication to resume after hiatus.

Yoshihiro Togashi’s Manga Series, HUNTER×HUNTER, shall be resuming publication and serialization on October 24, 2022. The resumpton shall be published on the upcoming Weekly Shonen Jump Issue No. 47, which shall be released on the date mentioned.

It’s been since September 2018, when the last chapter was published before the author goes on a hiatus. The Chapter 391 of the Manga series shall be published on the 47th issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha’s Magazine label).

Manga Publication and Serialization: Repeated Hiatus Periods

At the time when it was on its publication while taking a break, it was suspended in March 2012, when both the two story arcs have been completed. The serialization was resumed in June 2014, in two years and three months since its break. However, it was on hiatus again in August of the same year, due to the author’s health problems. And then, serialization has been resumed on April 2016, but it went hiatus again on July 2016. The Manga series was put into several hiatus, in which publishing and serialization periods would last up to only almost a year, before going into hiatus again.

“Since I have the name for the next 10 weeks, I will proceed with the manuscript while consulting with my physical condition and situation.” Togashi commented.

The 37th volume of the Manga series shall be released on November 4, 2022, since 4 years of its hiatus.
