Overview (Story)
“A young man who is unaware of his strength.”
Lan Di escaped after Ryo has fought him, only when Yuanda Zhu told him about going to that certain place or location instead of getting him. Lan Di has left, and Ryo has ended up taking on Dou Niu and his henchmen from Yellow Heads.
Yuanda Zhu told Ryo to go to the Bailu Village, in which Ryo can allow himself to find out further about the truth of Ryo’s father’s death, as well as finding out the mysteries of the two legendary mirrors. He then finally meets with Shenhua, when Ryo was able to make it to the place where Yuanda Zhu had mentioned.
Review
Let’s head on to the final Episode Review, since this is already the Final Episode!
Basically, just encountering your last boss doesn’t really mean it’s the final battle. Sometimes, they do really escape if they are out of options! And then, this is where usually the “Part 2” may ensue, if some conflicts remain unresolved.
And then, it seems that Ryo might be just the same as in the First Episode, where he only just used his anger to attack Lan Di, but getting beaten in no time. It really shows that our temper and anger can only bring us to total defeat, blinding us from total resolution. And then, this is where Ryo had to use everything that he has learned, especially the Four Ways of the Wude, in order to defeat the other bad guy who stood in their way.
It is just too bad that we haven’t got enough time to know the other character, Shenhua, who appeared randomly in some Episodes. Her character wasn’t given enough highlights and emphasis here. So then, we could get to know her very well soon, if the staff is willing enough to do a “Second Season”, perhaps?
In the span of 13 Episodes, from the story of the video game counterpart itself, it could have been better if they just continue with their “continuity” story, in which it can be an original story. An original story, where it continues the part where the game has left off. It makes sense now that this series can deserve a “Second Season”, only if the original creators of the game itself decided to do so. Overall, I liked the story, though it has nearly ended in a cliffhanger, since every Episode can allow me to learn some “moral stories” from it.
And in this Final Episode, I have learned on how to not to use anger for resolve. Anger basically just only blind us from reality, and it can only move us away from our goal to success. We must indeed know on how to calm ourselves down, and we should not be like bombs who are ready to explode.
And this ends our Episode Reviews for this series! Thank you for reading!
