Ruby Kurosawa is the ninth member of the School Idol Group, Aqours. She is the younger sister of the another School Idol, who is Dia Kurosawa. She is a close friend to Hanamaru Kunikida.
Ruby can be timid and shy when she is talking to other people, especially when it comes to being interviewed. She is fond of eating sweet foods at times, which would include candies and lollipop, other foods like French fries, and hates eating spicy foods.

Ruby Kurosawa represents also the sub-unit group of Aqours, CYaRon!, and afterwards, YYY. At the time when she isn’t fulfilling her dream as a School Idol, she liked the µ’s, especially Rin Hoshizora and Hanayo Koizumi being her favorites. Ruby also doing the “Gambaruby” chant, when she feels motivated, and utters the “Pigii” word when she feels hurt, surprised, or feeling embarrassed.
