[PH] EVENT REPORT: Aqours Finale LoveLive! – Program and Live Viewing Event

My first time organizing this event as a multihobbyist content creator!

The event name is Sunshine Beyond the Seas – LoveLive! Sunshine!! Aqours Finale LoveLive! ~EIKYU Stage~ – Program and Live Viewing Event, and was organized by Inori Donz, in cooperation with Tinotormed’s Backyard, Idol Rock Pro, and Renazuki’s Archive. This is a “private event” and was not sponsored nor endorsed by LoveLive! Series and its related companies. Thus, we do not gain a profit from this event in any way means.

This event was done last June 22, 2025.

Q: How did it started, and how did you get this idea in organizing this such event?

A: It all started when I found out that a “paid live streaming” of this event is available. So then, after losing a lottery leading to their finale live, I was just thinking on what other option or way I must do in order to experience watching Aqours for one last time. While most of my friends have won the lottery (CD or hotel package) to the event in Japan, some of my friends, including me, did not make it. And as the time when the paid live streaming option was available and announced, that was the time when I got this idea, where I will have to host this event, where my friends will play some little games and fun, at the time before the actual live viewing event starts.

And so, after all of that planning and “drawing”, I posted on Facebook for an interest check, if they wanted a live viewing watch party to be hosted somewhere, not as online anymore (As during and after the pandemic, paid live streamings are now a norm). Some of my friends have replied, and said that they were interested. At least 50 of them has responded. And after that, that was the time that I said to myself that I should organize this such program and live viewing event to everybody. I don’t want to waste that time or opportunity either, and I started to make my own move.

And that’s how it started, and was developed by a simple, little idea. I seek help with some of my friends, namely Justin from Tinotormed’s Backyard, and some Idol Rock Pro representatives, who used to be also my friends, too.

Q: Who and how many were you when you organized this event?

A: That will be me, as the head organizer, Justin as my co-organizer and my sponsor of most Aqours items and merch, Idol Rock Pro reps (3 of them) as my tech team, Renazuki as my photographer (for program segment only), and Lia as my secret performer for the opening act leading to the live viewing segment. Finally, for Maddie, she attended as an attendee for our event. But then, she volunteered to help me in organizing things. And that was the time when I decided to get her as my co-host for the program part of this event.

Lia in action. Of course, our secret performer! Yousoro!

So the total people (including me) who are the planning team is 8.

Q: Where did you able to organize this such program and live viewing event?

A: The event was organized, and was done in Hobby Stadium, at Jofanni Events Building in Quezon City.

That time when I was looking for the venue, most of them are around Metro Manila. So then, I head on to the first option which was Anime-themed cafe. But unfortunately, they did not respond on time. So, I was opted to look for an another venue, which was somehow bit spacious on my part. And this venue is sometimes appearing in some local Anime cons in the country. So then, when I decided on that venue, this is where we planned everything, which will include foods and drinks, and prizes.

Q: How are you able to get your audiences who wanted to watch the Aqours Finale LoveLive! live viewing?

A: Just as simple. I have a Facebook Community Group, called LLPC (or LoveLive! Philippine Community), and instead of posting in publicly, I tried posting there. I will not disclose on how many have attended, but all I can say that we are just few people who attended there, since I can consider this as a “private event” already.

Q: How was your hosting experience? What challenges have you encountered?

Me, together with my co-host, Maddie.

A: My hosting experience? It was fun! Especially when my co-host, Maddie, is at my side! We have some fun interacting with some audiences there, such as asking them questions related to LoveLive! Sunshine!! Anime, music and media, and the Aqours live events. Though my first experience, I do still encounter some errors, such as that some minor incidents may occur, which will include the accidental reveal of the correct answer in a quiz! Good thing I had given that audience a chance to answer an another question!

The moment when you asked him about this “ice cream” question.

For the challenges… It was just right, especially if I am the head organizer. As the head organizer, I am the one who runs everything, which will include program organization, audio and visual setup (dual screen feature lol), attendees masterlist, raffle and prizes, and our script as hosts for the program part of the event. But when the live viewing part is there already, then we are on our own! (HAHAHA) To connect more of that question, my challenges overall, though just right, are still not easy. In fact, when it comes to venue, I am the one who shelled out some bit of big money. But overall, my friends had helped me with this, and I know that I cannot do this alone, promise.

Though our live viewing space is not that spacious (We used two linking VIP rooms), still my attendees enjoyed the joys (and sadness) of live viewing experience! And not to mention that there are at least four (4) girls who cosplayed during the event, and that was also experience!

Our lovely ladies who Cosplayed in our event!
We have Lia (You), Maddie (Chika), Jiru (Yohane), and Kibi (also You)!

Q: How’s the live viewing experience? Are you happy or tear-jerking in that event?

A: All I can say that experience is really amazing and fun! This is my resolution, or something of a make-up activity, for my failure and loss to the Aqours Finale Live lottery. Not only I had made this dream come true, but I had made it come true along with my friends who keep rooting and trusting me!

Of course, Joey Josh will be also around to wave his penlight!
(Taken only at the program part of the event, and not from the live viewing part)

Joy? Tear-jerk? Almost. Especially at the long encore part where I had spoken and given ending acknowledgement to the people who helped me to make this event possible. And at the end, I will not forget that “friend” who told us to always smile, and that’s a promise! That’s right, don’t cry!

Q: Congratulations on making your first event successful! Are you able to organize something like these in the future?

A: Thank you very much! But since this was a private event, and was not sponsored nor endorsed by LoveLive! Series itself, I or we will NOT definitely profit from this event. And this private event was for fun and leisure purposes. Again, no profit here. And also, I told my photographer to cover only the “program part” of this event, and not the live viewing part of this event. Because, you know, concert rules, right? No recording or photography is made during the live viewing part of this event.

I would like and be happy to. But, due to my other priorities, and because I am out from employment, I might not organize something like these. But then, if some small events invited me to be a part of their event as the main host or speaker, then I am grateful to be a part of it! So as long as there’s opportunity that I can grab, then why not I host something like these again?
