Overview (Story)
Song for all! It’s the LoveLive! Finals.

As for Liella! is advancing to the LoveLive! Finals on the next year, Kanon receives a call from Margarete’s sister, who is from Vienna. The preparation for their live performance for the LoveLive! Finals become crucial, and somehow, Kinako, Mei, Shiki, and Natsumi are the only ones who could thought up of a song that they could make and use.

Review
Review time! This season is already at a climax!

Talking about the Episode… It has given me some random and mixed thoughts. Let’s start from something minor, until to the major part where everything has happened.

And so, let’s meet with Margarete’s sister (She was tagged as “Margarete’s sister” in the credits). She’s something of a soft-spoken lady with a strange, straight expression. Just seeing only her facial expression can make me somehow be intimidated (Am I feeling her “killer” impression?). Overall, just fine with me, though that she only gets her fewer screentime in this Episode.

Margarete’s sister is really a yandere-type here, making the likes of Kanon to hide in no time!

Kinako, Mei, Shiki, and Natsumi are finally grown up here, in terms of their School Idol capabilities. As for the Liella! pioneers almost finally graduating, it seems that the four are ready to take their responsibilities as being the new core of the team. But on the top of that, they were also given a chance to top in the spotlight, as this season is already reaching the climax. Seeing them running together makes me feel that they are used to be just rookies in the SEASON TWO. And now, they are like pros in the 3rd Season. Time really flies, and I can really imagine that great transition of these four!

It seems that everyone here is given a chance to shout out their feelings, and to highlight themselves as they can. But then, the Episode isn’t really wasting time to let other characters interact with an another one. This is something that I can really see in some RPGs that I play — going with a lot of character talks, just before a one, big, last boss battle. And overall, this is the Episode, where it has given all of them a chance to shine on a spotlight. Of course, Kanon won’t be left behind, as usual!

Sunny Passion, Yuna and Mao, finally made their appearances here at the end.

One, two, three… School Idols putting their V-fingers together on the center has become a routine, where it is also done in the previous LoveLive! Anime Series. It really helped me in remembering the tradition where they count out, and finally shouting their tagline (Music Start, Sunshine, etc.), before their live show MV will ensue.

As for my thoughts in the Episode, the plot for making them win the LoveLive! Finals twice can be somehow predictable, for me. It makes me no longer excited when they can really win at this point. It is basically all thanks to Wien Margarete in making her aim to win the LoveLive!, while trying to surpass Liella! and Kanon. And that is one of the hints of the outcome of the season. And then, it has well focused on the further development of the characters, in which it has given a chance for them to shine, while resolving the others as well (for my case, Keke Tang). In general, more character development-focused plot, rather than focusing on the progressive, linear story.

All I can say, the Episode is just average, for me, as a Climax Episode.

My Rating: AVERAGE (3.3/5)

Review Rating Summary and Breakdown

Story: (3/5) – At this point, their only task was to win the LoveLive! Finals. The plot itself branched deeper into parts where the girls need some focus, just in order for them to be on the highlight. But when you could able to scrape down that branched plot until the part where the girls finally meet, then that’s the overall of the Episode.
Animation: (4/5) – Good, especially the “Superstar!!” MV part!
Insights: (3/5) – For the insights, I don’t think I could get some. But here it goes: Just always remember that we can’t just make our dreams come true alone. Because of the people around us, whether friends or rivals, it can help us beat the impossible.
