Howlers Manila 3.0 was an outdoor bazaar, Cosplay, and music event that was held at CCP Open Grounds last December 7, 2024.

This event was performing properly in its previous years when it was started. However, the event was plagued with several backlashes, especially on its Cosplay part — the Guinness World Records attempt in making a new record for the most Cosplayers donned as the video game characters from various series.

When it comes to accommodation for the Cosplayers, a lot of them complained about the strict system, in which it has put a lot of them into difficult situations, like fainting or even lacking of hydration and other accommodation support like food.

The organizers of the Howlers Manila 3.0 (FB Page: Howlers Manila Cosplay & Music Festival) has issued a statement with regards to those incidents happened.

The team and organizers have apologized about their lack of concern to the Cosplayers who are suffering in the heat, lack of food, drinks, and the lack of seats in the open areas of the venue, while attempting for the Guinness World Record. And the team is committed to take those responsibilities, and to promise that they will do better next time.

Let’s just hope that they could do better for the next year, without these kinds of troubles and situations occur in the future.
