Overview (Story)
The most important thing about School Idols is their hearts being one.

As the two groups become one and now an 11-member team of Liella!, they are now practicing and readying for the LoveLive! event. Meanwhile, Margarete is having problems when it comes to dealing with other girls to befriend her.

Review
Another Episode Review with crazy insights! Review time!

This time, it will be focusing around Margarete, as well as a bit of characters who don’t stand out, like Kinako. Keke Tang has made a major development here since the first season — from being a chump, she became a champ! Other characters don’t really made too much dialogues, and quite understandable that it is really focusing on a certain character. And Kinako, is really becoming weaker here who tries to become strong on her own. In the previous Episodes, Kinako doesn’t really get much exposure, so hoping that she could get an another spotlight here, in which the one that I have watched from the SEASON TWO isn’t really enough.

When it comes to socialization, Margarete is seemingly weak. But then, it was not long weak when she finally developed her close interaction with Kanon’s sister, Aria.

Margarete is going in good terms with Kanon’s sister, Aria.

So then, this Episode is really showing on how does interactions with other people do work, especially dealing with popular people. But for this case, it is about dealing with people who can’t well socialize with other people who are indeed showing care and sympathy for them. Somehow, this kind of scene and plot can be looked similar to the Yohane the Parhelion Anime, where the MC looked so inferior, but finally ended up with a bunch of happy girls standing in one picture. However, the case with Margarete will be different, and she doesn’t want to be mingled by some people around her, and she is acting superior.

So, I have learned that being superior and powerful is great, but you have sacrificed a lot of things and friends in order to achieve them. And for Margarete, she wanted to achieve something great, yet she is already losing something important to her. But the thing is, she is slowly learning the importance of School Idols in groups or teams. And then, she is somehow learning and realizing those points, and she is growing stronger from her mistakes and losses she made in the past.

Kinako and Natsumi head on.

And moving to the next, Kinako’s expression has already hinted me for the next Episode. And as I have written earlier, she is weak who is trying to be strong to stand out. Quite surprising enough that Natsumi isn’t also standing out, despite that she has already taken her effort to unleash her inner feelings to Tomari in the previous Episode, but understandable.

It is a reality that either superiority or inferiority can really bar us from forming interactive friendships. But only mutual hobbies and talents can bring people together in order to form these kinds of friendships. And we can’t really force someone to be friends with. But then, we should never allow “gate keeping”, since that can be also a border to form mutual friendships. Sometimes, it all starts when you showcase your hobby or talent. And that one example is when Margarete finally interacted with Kanon’s sister to make a Salzburger Nockerln, a known dessert in Austria.

My thoughts? It is one of an example on how to overcome this anti-social status of people who can’t befriend some people who are in the lowest level than them. And for this Episode, it’s a nice representation. Overall, it’s bit boring from the start, but good in the middle part until the end.

My Rating: GOOD (4/5)

Review Rating Summary and Breakdown

Story: (4/5) – Story is straightforward — showing some scenes before their entrance to the LoveLive! Event. Not really a waste of time paying attention and to understand what has happened (reading the subs lol). They do really never had a time to show some other scenes in the Episode, but acting as cutaways during their “Let’s be ONE” MV.
Animation: (4/5) – Just fine as usual.
Insights: (4/5) – Being stronger and to achieve something bigger can require sacrifice. And the other is on how to overcome your social loneliness when other people who are lower than your current social standing are trying to befriend you. Sometimes, we can’t force ourselves to be friends with people with less to no interaction, but our own hobbies and interests can. But then, we are all human beings, and we are treating each other the same.
