Overview (Story)
As Tomari and Natsumi went away after the remaining Liella! members had met up, they ended up searching her up to her home in Ibaraki. Kanon told Natsumi everything about her sister, Tomari, saying that chasing dreams is pointless.
Review
Natsumi is a happy girl from the outside. But inside, she is a sad girl who can’t even achieve a single dream. But then, she don’t even realize that she has already achieved that dream — being a famous LTuber (vlogger) that can able to monetize her channel. Tomari is just around to watch for her, but not on her dreams being pointless.
Tomari, on the other hand, is always sad when Natsumi is always failing to make dreams a reality. That’s why she never looked on dreams as reality. But then, there’s a hole in her character, where she don’t even realize that dreams would eventually require struggling and failing. What the point is that Tomari wants them to achieve those dreams for the first time without fail.
So, the message of this Episode is quite simple. Trying out different things can really write our own profile, and to find ourselves on who we are. It is a matter or fact that Natsumi changed hobbies because she’s failing at them all the time. But the thing is… She always aims high, and she wanted them to be achieved on the first try without fail. Achieving higher for the first time without fail isn’t really good after all. Without knowing your limitations and other exploits, it will be just ending you up losing.
The storm before the calm. Struggle before comfort. No rain, no rainbow. That means, works without struggles mean there’s no good output. If you try without failing, or if you fail without trying again, you will just stop there. That’s basically one of the insights of this Episode.
Tomari is really straight-minded, while Natsumi on contrary is cheerful and high-spirited. Overall, the Onitsuka sisters are just like opposite polarities of each other. And then, Tomari’s character can be almost parallel to Shiki Wakana, who is also cool and serious.
Overall, this Episode is inspirational at first, when you realize that Natsumi is really a try-hard girl. If only the girls of Liella! and Kanon weren’t around, Natsumi will be nothing, but just being stuck into a level where she can’t advance.
My Rating: GOOD (4/5)
Review Rating Summary and Breakdown
Story: (4/5) – Representation of the Episode is good. With Natsumi failing on every single hobby or dreams, this basically means that we need some inspirations to heighten our moods up. Without them, it is like having a hard time passing through on a difficult level on a video game.
Animation: (4/5) – Animation quality is good.
Insights: (4/5) – Don’t set up expectations very high on every single dreams that we want. Of course, we can’t get them for the first time we try, and we fail. Of course, we give up if we can’t do it. But then, it takes motivation, perseverance, inspiration, and many others in order to make our dreams come true.
