Overview (Story)
As the stage play continues, Kana steps on to the stage, on what could be the possible actions must she do, in which it is not actually on the script. Meanwhile, Aqua is emotionless when it’s already his turn on the stage. What was possibly a thing that triggers him to no longer enjoy his acting?
Review
So then, basically, it’s just linking to the previous Episode, where Kana’s shining character isn’t finished yet. And so, it was finally put into a resolve.
Focusing on what’s happening, Kana was really dragged into the spotlight, where Aqua and Akane are there. And that is, in order to make her throw away the past self that she can’t seem to move on. Yep, and that’s on what they call as Kana Arima on the sun. So then, her reputable character has been restored, somehow!
And for Aqua, it’s just basically the opposite. See where his blinded acting will go! As usual, he is being blinded by revenge and guilt, which are the reasons why he is never enjoying his acting — the more enjoyable it gets, the more painful and sorrowful it gets. It is just basically like an employee who is more enjoying with their corporate works, but then it gets more painful and stressful the longer the time when they are working under with their bosses.
So then, on what the Director said to Aqua was right at this point, where he finally finds out Aqua’s true motive in being a part of the entertainment industry. As Aqua’s revenge and guilt are continuing to swell, so does he is becoming more blinded to his own self-reality. At this point, Aqua is solely blinded by the past trauma that triggered him.
My thoughts in this Episode… So then, it is really complicated on how do characters shine and dim when their turns on the stage are up. They can be either cheered, or be booed depending on how well do their actions — such as making an ad-lib on the script they had read, or making some unique moves not done at their rehearsal. And also the fact the Aqua and Akane pair can be reigning at this point, this Episode will never let Kana Arima lose this time. But on what happened to Aqua is really the opposite from Kana.
Overall, I like the plot where it goes bright and dark at the same time. Basically, with a little comedy humor (with Kana and Akane), and some time when it finally gets dark (with Aqua). This time, the more I enjoy this Episode, the more I would like to go after for it for insights!
Yep, definitely an another good Episode this time around, though the plot is seemingly slow at this point again — same as with the previous Episodes.
My Rating: GOOD (4/5)
Review Rating Summary and Breakdown
Story: (4/5) – Viewers should need to take attention with the timeline of the story, since this can be confusing a bit. It then shows the present time when they are performing in the Tokyo Blade stage play, and some lots of branching past timelines of Kana, and some parts of the day before or after the actual stage play. Overall, they can be followed — just need to stay focused though!
Animation: (4/5) – Yep, the animation is just right. Stage play props are awesome, indeed.
Insights: (4/5) – Well, we can be blinded by revenge or anything that can block us to achieve our goals. Basically, they can really find out the reason why we are acting strange. Something that triggered our own past or our own current conflicts can really put us down into despair. When they really found out, then this is where counseling and encouragement/nurturement will take place. What a long insight!
