Overview (Story)
At the few days before the actual stage play, Aqua told Akane his reason why he wanted to do acting in the entertainment industry. As the day of the stage play is coming soon, Akane and Kana are facing off to see who’s the best one standing out.
Review
Akane did really change here, since from the time when she became Aqua’s GF. Also, on the part where she is really sharing her feelings with him, at the time when Aqua did really told her his reason why did he wanted to do acting in the entertainment industry. And I praise Akane’s feeling-yandere expression — Aqua was even fazed!
Long time to see the never-seen characters before here, especially MEM-cho. And then, Ruby is finally showing her true colors here when she realized that Aqua isn’t really interacting with her that much.
And hey, look at those smartphones that can even match the appearance of a typical iPhone!
Basically, for Kana, she is becoming a character who can be now either hated or be loved. Especially, when she is already dealing with Akane when it comes to acting. Kana can be multi-talented, but can be arrogant and annoying at times. So then, it is really a sense that both Kana and Akane are even worthy rivals at each other, when it comes to superior acting. But who’s gonna prevail after that?
Basically, when we prepare ourselves on the stage, it is important to have a clear mind. Otherwise, if there is something that bothers us, sometimes, we gotta step down immediately when we can’t focus anymore.
And my thoughts in this Episode is that the story pacing is quite slow, while giving emphasis to the other characters again. But then, it is really important to keep your eyes focused on the scenes, since you might never understand on what’s going on if you don’t pay attention. In other words, don’t let your eyes get off from those scenes. And for the entire Episode, it’s really complicated where you are required to think on what are the possible scenarios that could happen for the next Episode. Will their stage play will top? Or will flop? And then, only that answer could be in the original Manga source.
Overall, this Episode is simplistic, yet requiring you to pay attention to the scenes — what they are doing, and in order to understand the flow.
My Rating: GOOD (4/5)
Review Rating Summary and Breakdown
Story: (4/5) – Story is simple, yet complex that requires you to think. And it also gave time to the other characters who wanted to speak a couple of lines in this Episode.
Animation: (4/5) – Animation is quite right, especially when Aqua’s starry eyes turned into jet-black color.
Insights: (4/5) – Basically, when we prepare ourselves on the stage, it is important to have a clear mind. Otherwise, if there is something that bothers us, sometimes, we gotta step down immediately when we can’t focus anymore. If Aqua’s past is still haunting him, then it can be his hinder or borders to do emotional acting.
