Review
Review time! Time to pick up on what was left off.

As usual, there would be some little recalling on what has happened on the previous Episode (season) where Aqua is still left unfinished on his objective. So then, heading to the present, it would be a new Episode where Aqua, Akane, and Kana would be doing a new stage play which is Manga-based.

The usual character setting would be applying as in the previous season. But then, it seems that Kana Arima got a usual character shift here, wherein she becomes more aggressive and motivated here. And then, she is suddenly moving away from Aqua, though.

Kana gaining more spotlight in the rehearsal play.

Somehow, it would represent socialization, for me, since people are divided into groups again, despite that they were in a same production team. And Aqua is really becoming more darker here, especially when he is more hungry to learn the truth behind with Ai Hoshino’s secret, by becoming close with the head producer. So then, I expect something more, like that from the Manga source (I try avoiding the Manga source, though I had encountered previous spoilers from them already).

So then, I had known on how these such adaptations do even work, especially when it’s Anime, live action, or anything. Not everything was being copied from the original source material, and some characters are not even present from that original source. Basically, adaptation material can be different from the original source, and include also the acting parts of the character. And so, I can even learn more further the line in the future Episodes on how these usual stuff were being rewritten or revised, given if the original author of that original source material (Manga) was not satisfied with the outcome.

So, for the insights to learn, not everything will be copied 100 percent. Sometimes, you just need to improvise on what’s needed — yourself — in the sense that you have to add and leave things that are needed in the script. So basically, you just don’t need to read everything in the script.

Overall, this Episode is good for a jumpstart.

My Rating: AVERAGE (3.7/5)

Review Rating Summary and Breakdown

Story: (3/5) – Basically, it just shows on how do actors work on a script of an original work which was adapted. And on how do original authors rework on the script that the producers had made. Also, include the rehearsals and other scheduling here! That’s the plot!
Animation: (4/5) – The animation is good, and sometimes in Manga-styled animation. Very far from perfect, but it’s fine.
Insights: (4/5) – So basically, you just don’t need to read everything in the script. Just add, leave, improvise. Repeat.
