Review
I will not make this review longer, since it is all about wrapping up everything, just after they have claimed their sweet victory over their bitter conflicts.
Now that seeing these Liella! girls are parting and making their own ways, it makes me feel on what are they going to do next, given that they have accomplished something great. And so, it makes audiences like me to realize that all things must come and go. Especially when it comes to the original Liella! pioneers, this has shown that they have literally finished everything that they had started, since from their PV debut, up to the season finale.
So far, the Liella! Anime 3rd Season was able to resolve the plot holes, in which they were never addressed from the previous first and second seasons. Also, the 3rd Season was able to improve its storyline, in which it was able to give the other girls a chance to be on the spotlight — allowing them to express their own feelings, and to give them further character development each.
It is all thanks to the original five Liella! girl pioneers, Kanon, Keke, Chisato, Sumire, and Ren. They have encountered a lot of hardships in their School Idol journeys. And this time, they were given a chance to bond themselves more. It would never allow them to achieve their own dreams when there are no one else are around to support them.
And also, it’s an another history in the LoveLive! Series, where they would really have to let Liella! win two times in a row, in which the previous School Idol groups have never done before. Quite amazing that Liella! has done something impossible, in which it was never done in its previous predecessors.
As usual, when it comes to let these girls crying, there are some that are really stopping their tears to fall, especially Mei (Mei finally unleashes them in one frame of this Episode). Margarete, as usual, keeps denying, but shed tears anyway. Because of those, I can feel the sadness aura where it really tends to let me cry while watching, also.
Graduation and departure are somewhat the things that we can hardly accept. But then, time really flies, and we got to accept it. It is because nothing is indeed permanent in this world, but only words shall remain on every living entity. Yep, and that’s one of a saying!
My thoughts in this Episode? When people are hearing about “graduation”, it does really mean “sad reacts”, “tears”, or even they sometimes associate it with “disappearance”. And to answer my impression, it’s really a half-happy and a half-sad Episode. And finally, I am really relieved of sadness when they were given a chance to see the Hajimari wa Kimi no Sora MV, in which it acts as their debut song, and also the song that will end their story as a School Idol. Yeah, and it is really good that they shall be using that debut song, while adding up the remaining six of them in the set.
Overall, this season finale Episode is totally a cinema. If the entire Liella! Anime series will be recompiled into a Recap Anime movie, then it’s a total cinema. And for the rating of this finale, it will be…
My Rating: GOOD (4.3/5)
Review Rating Summary and Breakdown
Story: (4/5) – Like I said, the season finale is a total cinema, and was able to wrap it up making it a good ending of the season.
Animation: (5/5) – Nothing I can say, but it’s best.
Insights: (4/5) – Graduation and departure are somewhat the things that we can hardly accept. But then, time really flies, and we got to accept it. It is because nothing is indeed permanent in this world, but only words shall remain on every living entity.
