Review
Summing up from the Episode 7 until 8, let’s have some highlights!
It seems that both of the mentioned Episodes are nearly focused on Margarete and Tomari. But mostly, Tomari does become the most highlighted character here.
Some laughable moments can be seen, such as Natsumi running on Shiki’s body movement control gadget, Margarete sipping a hot coffee very fast that hurt her tongue, and Tomari being shocked about missing a volume of the book series she’s reading.
Nothing too much to highlight in the 7th Episode. But the most exciting here is the time when Margarete and Tomari do really told Kanon that if they win against their counterteam, they will finally join as the 10th and 11th members of Liella! That’s how it goes! It is about time that Margarete and Tomari finally try to resolve their own conflicts, but then, Tomari isn’t really done yet.
And so, both girls from the two separate teams are somehow stressed on what is going to happen, given that only one team from them are able to compete for the upcoming LoveLive! Event. And meanwhile, Natsumi is having her feelings hidden from Tomari. Tomari, on the other hand, is getting harsh towards Natsumi, and always walking away whenever she tries to talk to her. So then, the hole in Tomari’s character was finally fixed, with Natsumi also taking the spotlight along with her.
In the midway of the 8th Episode, a tear-jerking moment can be seen here. Given in my current state, I do really almost cried on this one! But hey, was that really a technique on how to get someone’s feelings to be with you? And again, I did tear-jerked on this one.
The plot is really predictable, just as hinted from the previous Episode 7. And then, in their MV, Dazzling Game, I do really like the transitioning of the costume colors; changing from red and blue into purple. This is how the 11-member group do really formed at the end of this Episode.
So far, the rating of the two Episodes can be low and high, respectively. But then, will it be enough to get a higher rating this time, for me? Overall, it’s good!
For the insights of this Episode, it is better to shout out your feelings, rather than keeping them secretly in the dark. Because as the time passes, the more you store them, the painful it gets when it is already stored overtime. It is just basically holding up your own urine, and to release them when you feel it’s painful, right?
My Rating: BEST (4.7/5)
Review Rating Summary and Breakdown
Story: (5/5) – Two Episodes, when combined, isn’t really a waste of time! It has really given a time to fix the unresolved plot between Natsumi and Tomari in both of the Episodes. Tear-jerking moment is also great!
Animation: (4/5) – Good as usual. There are some frames that the color looks solid, while others, there are either bit bright or even bit dark. But then, animation consistency is just right overall. Dazzling Game MV is also good!
Insights: (5/5) – Read the last paragraph of my review to find out the insights!
