Overview (Story)
As Kanon’s application to the new school transfer abroad got cancelled, she finally returns to Yuigaoka to study for an another year. As Wien Margarete finally forms her own school idol group, the rest of the team Liella! continued their activities without Kanon at their side.
Review
As shown in the Liella! Anime SEASON TWO’s season finale cliffhanger, this is where the story will continue. As usual, when you have explored this side for the stars, then there would be more clusters of stars to explore on from the other side. Do you know what that means?
And so, Kanon Shibuya isn’t really the same one who is seen in the previous Episodes and seasons of this Anime. From being a glossophobic girl, until she becomes a girl who could even talk like she ain’t having a fear or anything. In other words, she is a person who could decide, although she needs to sacrifice some of her things for the good of herself.
On the other side, Wien Margarete is fierce, cold-hearted, and showing some malice. With her defeat on the SEASON TWO previously, her hunger for achieving victory against Liella! is what drives her in creating her own school idol group. And guess what? Who’s that first school idol to finally append on Margarete’s soon-to-rise school idol group? And going back to Wien Margarete’s character again… She is indeed a villain-type girl whom you could see in some soap opera shows — something like that.
Despite being Natsumi’s sister, Tomari Onitsuka is somewhat a cool-type girl, who could be emotionless at this point (Somehow, like Shiki). I can tell that she may utter some few English words in order to start her sentences. Who knows what kind of character or traits will Tomari be looking like and have, in which they can be referenced by some Cosplayers around?
And for the Liella!, they could literally continue, especially when Kanon isn’t usually present with them. Chisato is going to be a good leader, from now on, in Kanon’s place. One thing I like for Chisato is her compassion with Kanon, although they sometimes argue. But overall, she is doing them fair and square. Soon enough, will Chisato finally get her character dev here? But then, it’s there already!
So far, the only characters that I have attention or highlight here are Kanon, Margarete, Chisato, and Tomari. Time to take their screenshots for some references!
Overall, this Episode is a no-brainer for me. Knowing the reason why Kanon decides to leave Liella! is basically an insight to learn. If you are just staying on one place, you can’t even grow stronger. That’s a quote!
Overall, this season premiere of the 3rd Season is really good, and there are twists already that happened.
My Rating: GOOD (4.3/5)
Review Rating Summary and Breakdown
Story: (5/5) – Everything executed very well with some twists. That’s right, and more drama and less to no comedy is really making me hooked!
Animation: (4/5) – Just good looking as in the previous seasons. Opening and ending animations (and the Songs of Liella! extra) are also doing great!
Insights: (4/5) – If you are just staying on one place, you can’t even grow stronger. There are ways to improve ourselves in our character. If you have a group, it is possible to leave it for a while just in order to make yourself stronger. In what way to make yourself even stronger? The answer is: Try different things to explore more of yourself.
